Yes I've been trying to get a video together for a while now. I'm missing a decent video camera and the iOS simulator on my macbook just isn't fast enough to do a smooth screen recording. Work in progress...

Ah, right you are David. Sorry about that. Looks like the last update broke landscape on video out. I'll give fixing it a priority and make sure it works for you next update. Thanks for letting me know.

I can only stream this app "Anemone" on my HD T.V. in the portrait mode. I can't get it to take up the whole screen in landscape mode. I've tried to rotate my device. I thought it said it would stream to the T.V. To me it's pointless to have this running on the T.V. screen in the portrait mode only taking up 25% of the screen. Im using an ipad 2 as well with the most updated OS 5.0.1. Please help.

Thank you for your time,
David

Hal,

Your comment stayed with me and (eventually!) prompted me to add sound response. The new version is now available as an update in the App store. Thanks for your feedback.

Now we will be able to put our OCD to good use if only we could be bothered to look up the words. I'm sure someone less indolent than I am will find it useful. C'mon other players and comment on this new game.

Hi Gill, I've uploaded the 3 letter word list for you. I don't know about having 4 letter list though - that could be going a bit far.

Hi and thanks for your comments. I think what Double Quotes really needs is more players! But it's early days yet. In the meantime, maybe just start more games - i.e. have more games open and once you do find an opponent who moves within a reasonable timeframe, befriend them at end of game. That way you can easily invite them next time you start a game. Or perhaps just send friend invites to the top 5 players on the hiscore table - the best players play more games, and hence move more often.

Double Quotes is a very attractive game indeed, both visually and gameplay-wise. It is a fresh new take for us word-gamers who have already played a lot of Words With Friends and Wordfeud. It is nice with the leaderboard feature, not found in the other two games. For a non native English-speaker, like yours truly, the misspell = forfeit is a big challenge! However Double Quotes seems to be home to some very sluggish players, and this inactivity is a bit of a nuisance. A timeout (auto-resign) for players who do not move within 72 hours, or perhaps subtraction of x points every y hours might speed things up a bit - or perhaps the option of timed games.

Interesting DQ list to attempt to remember . Remarkable that there is only one for 'c'. We can now wait with baited breath for the lists of three and four letter words with which to confound our opponents. Submit and/or perish on every turn and have a good guess as to what might work. Keep up the good work.
