The public release of Astariel is now live. You may find 3.2.1 in the downloads section.
3.2.1 sports a new look for the aliens and much more challenging gameplay. I've a feeling this latest release, particularly the now easily accessible Storm-mode could win over some hard-core bullet storm fans.

New Akasa version released

I've finally gotten around to fixing the online hiscore table for Akasa. You'll need to download the new version (1.4) to access it.

Well, it's been a long time coming but a new version of Astariel is about to be released.
Changes include:
Multicolour backgrounds
Crate border bounce
More aggressive aliens
Alien smileys!
I'm very happy with the new look and feel. I hope Astariel fans will be too!
