I include here the full version of the original Astariel (1.8) release. It is best played via keyboard and still a fair bit of fun. The online hiscore table doesn't work, however as it has been replaced by the new shareware version's.

Akasa

The Akasa source code compiles under MSVC++ 6.0 with DirectX 9 SDX. It doesn't run, however, as the map data is encrypted with the wrong key. I can fix this, if someone is enthusiastic about working on it. As it stands the code is hardly textbook material, but it is well commented and contains a lot of handy utility functions. Start with Akasa.cpp and work from there.

Angelicus Screensaver

Angelicus is a meditative/psychedelic screensaver. Basically it's a multicolour plasma viewed through a kaleidoscope. I wrote is back in 2000 and really deserves a modern rewrite. It is still surprisingly pretty though.
